Cookie Policy
Last updated: 14 October 2026
Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. This site also uses your browser’s “local storage”, which works in a similar way. We keep this to a minimum: no advertising cookies, no third-party trackers, and nothing sold or shared.
1. Essential (always on)
These are needed for the site to work and keep your account safe, so they can’t be switched off.
| Name | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
__Host-kes_session | Keeps you signed in (cookie) | 7 days (12 hours for staff) |
__Host-kes_csrf | Security: stops other websites making requests as you (cookie) | Session |
kes_2fa | Staff two-step login, between the password and the code (cookie) | 5 minutes |
privacy-choice | Remembers your choice in the cookie notice (local storage) | Until you clear it |
2. Features you use (local storage, stays on your device)
These only store what you do on this site, on your own device. They are not sent to us unless you place an order or sign in.
| Name | What it does |
|---|---|
cart | Your shopping cart |
list:wishlist, list:compare, list:recent | Your wishlist, compare list and recently viewed items |
user | Your basic account details (name, email) while you are signed in |
theme, view | Light/dark theme and grid/list view |
alerts:…, join-invite-closed | Stock alerts you set up, and that you closed the sign-up invite |
3. Statistics (only if you allow them)
| Name | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
vid | A random code (not your name or email) so we can count which products are viewed and searched for, without counting the same person twice. Removed if you choose “Essential only”. | Until you clear it. The statistics are deleted after 2 years. |
4. Other websites
The Google map on our Visit page only loads if you click “Show the map”. Google may then set its own cookies (see Google’s privacy policy). Links to WhatsApp, Google Maps directions and other sites open those sites, which have their own policies.
5. Changing your choice
Use the “Change cookie settings” button above at any time. You can also delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. Doing so signs you out and empties your cart.
More detail on how we use personal data is in our Privacy Policy.
